Lucy Liu and Jack Black in Kung Fu Panda

When it comes to movie premieres, it doesn’t get more fun than the Hollywood debut of Kung Fu Panda featuring stars Jack Black and Lucy Liu.
It all went down in Hollywood, California as the “Tenacious D and the Pick of Destiny” funnyman and his “Charlie’s Angels” babe co-star charmed the crowd and posed for pictures outside the theatre. This is a must see movie especially for young children. And I admire the beauty and skills of Ms. Liu.

My cousin Jan

This cousin of mine was one of the most favorite one. She was a sister to me and she helps me every time we were around in our homeland. She is beautiful inside and out and chubby one. As I remember, when she was one of my brides maid in our wedding, she was thin and sexy and sacrifice a lot in her diet.hehehe But now, things did not turned out right, I guess. Just kidding. She was chubby and loves to eat. She is a professional and have 2 courses. A proud degree graduate and a caregiver and not to forget , a welder too. She studied and learned to be a welder for 1 day because she wants to work abroad. The last time I text her, she was interested to work as domestic helper. I gave her advices. The pros and cons in going out and working as dh in another country. I just want her to stay and pursue her dream not as dh but as caregiver or any job that she wants. She also love dogs. As if it was a delicate baby to her. She kiss and cuddle it every time I see her. As her mom says, an animal lover. One time, I heard a story from her mom, than when dogs were not well fed, she bought evaporated milk and put it in a feeding bottle and let her dog suck the milk until it fell asleep. She really loves her family. And that is the best thing that I admire most. Every time I have plans for my life she was included in the list and given a chance to travel and enjoy things in life, I want her to be with me and with my family. Any way, her real name is Janice B. Arzagon.

The movie: Caregiver

Today is Sunday the first day of June 08. As planned last night, we will be going to hear mass and go to Victoria mall to pay our water bills. But plans changed. Instead we went to the other mall near us and watch movie Caregiver. As I went to bought movie ticket, the big poster in front of me says that all seats are taken and the next screening time will be on 5pm. My family was a little bit disappointed and we decided to transfer in SM. But before we turn our back at the ticketing area, I noticed a little girl that is so familiar to me. It was the same age with Keisha and she smiled at me. It was Regine Guillermo, a classmate of Keisha since Nursery. They too, wants to watch the movie but can't wait for 5pm so I invited them, together with her aunt and 2 helper to be in SM. Upon reaching mall, we were shocked with the people having their longest line in front of the ticketing booth. They too was eager watch the said movie. Anyway, Noel and decided to watch this film out of curiosity and lots of questions raised like, what is life of a caregiver and especially their temporary places to live with and so on. Well, the movie was so touching and lots of crying, but it did not make me cry, sorry, I guess I am a stone-hearted woman.hehehe. It was Sharon Cuneta who was the star of the movie and played by husband John Estrada. John E. was the first to work in London to be a nurse but instead landed a job as a health care assistant. Sharon then, was a school teacher who struggles to attend school in caregiver after teaching in public school. She was then the best English teacher and in fact the next school year she will be promoted as a Department head in English. But still she pursue to go abroad to be with his husband and build their future plans in life. But i turned out that John E., was disappointed with his job and not contented to his position in the hospital. As for me, working abroad is a risk. It was not our own land and there are lots of rules to follow. It is our willingness to work there and earn more money but lots of sacrifices has to be made in order to achieve what we want. We have to enjoy life, love our job and most of all have faith in God. As for couples who was working hard for their family in the Philippines, give time and communicate with your partner even though you don't see each other because of your schedules. Give yourself a break and understand each other. Lesson learned in that film: Remember to have a strong bond with your loved ones and two-way communication is important.
