MIchael Jackson's 50th birthday has no celeb-packed party

Life Struggle
Life nowadays seems so hard for us. We were financially down but we tried to look for a solution on how to cope up with our daily expenses plus all the bills to be paid for in a month. Our garden business were not doing good nowadays maybe because of the crisis that arises in our country. Our product was not that important commodity for the moment so we experience slow sales. In spite of all these things that we experience, still we were high in spirit and not losing our hope nor giving it up. We just continue to live in a simple way of life, doing things we used to and most of all clinging and increasing our faith to the Father Almighty. I know He is always there looking at us and knows what is the best for all of us. He will never fail us in times of need. Time will come that we can overcome this problem and the most important thing is that we were in good shape to face all the challenge that may come our way everyday.

Snoring while Sleeping

Snoring, like all other sounds, is caused by vibrations that cause particles in the air to form sound waves. For example, when we speak, our vocal cords vibrate to form our voice. When our stomach growls (borborygmus), our stomach and intestines vibrate as air and food move through them.
While we are asleep, turbulent airflow can cause the tissues of the nose and throat to vibrate and give rise to snoring. Essentially, snoring is a sound resulting from turbulent airflow that causes tissues to vibrate during sleep.
Any person can snore. Studies estimate that 45% of men and 30% of women snore on a regular basis. Frequently, people who do not regularly snore will report snoring after a viral illness, after drinking alcohol, or when taking some medications.
People who snore can have any body type. We frequently think of a large man with a thick neck as a snorer. However, a thin woman with a small neck can snore just as loudly. In general, as people get older and as they gain weight, snoring will worsen.

A spectacular Hanging Monastery in China
It was a spectacular and magnificient wonders of
the world. People who build this Monastery are truly the expert of all the experts compared in the present generation.
Hanging Monastery stands at the foot of Mt. Hengshan, 5 kilometers (3 miles) south of Hunyuan County, and 65 kilometers (40 miles) from downtown Datong City. Since it hangs on the west cliff of Jinxia Gorge more than 50 meters above the ground, it is called Hanging Monastery.Hanging Monastery, built in 491, has survived more than 1400 years. The extant monastery was largely rebuilt and maintained in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) and Qing Dynasty (1644-1911).How could a building like this withstand the winds and storms of so many years? Hanging Monastery is an architectural wonder. A unique mechanical theory was applied to building the framework. Crossbeams were half-inserted into the rock as the foundation, while the rock in back became its support. Seen from below, Hanging Monastery appears to be a tumble-down castle in the air. Inside, Hanging Monastery provides the same scene as other temples. Construction experts from countries including Britain, Germany, and Italy, come to see the monastery. In their words, Hanging Monastery, which mixes mechanics, aesthetics, and Buddhism, is rare. The monastery and everything it symbolizes embodies a great cultural achievement of Chinese people. The second attraction of Hanging Monastery is that it includes Buddhism, Taoism and Confucianism. Inside the monastery, the sculptures of Sakyamuni, Confucius and Laotzu appear together, which is unusual. There are 40 halls and cabinets, which contain about 80 sculptures made of copper, iron, terracotta, and stone. The features are vividly carved. Why build a monastery like this? Location is the first reason; building a monastery on the cliff could shield it from floods. In addition, the mountain peak protects it from rain and snow; and the mountain around it also diminishes damage from long-time sunshine. The second reason is that the builders followed a principle in Taoism: no noises, including those from rooster crowing and dog baying; so from the upper ground, all noises drop away.

Caught Re-bagging of NFA Rice in Tacurong City
A joint team from the Tacurong police and representatives of the NFA and Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) raided the Tacurong Agri-World Rice Mill on Wednesday morning and found at least 1,000 sacks of NFA well-milled rice being re-bagged.Tacurong police director Joel Limson, in a interview, said that during the raid, at least 80 of the re-bagged rice were already loaded on a 16-wheeler truck and was about to be delivered to a buyer in Davao City.Limson said 10 workers were at the warehouse when the raiders arrived at around 8:20 a.m. on Wednesday, but rice mill owner Bernardo Tan was not around. The raiding team was led by Tacurong City councilor Excel Pauya and Vicente Gopes, together with an investigator of the NFA in Sultan Kudarat and Carmen Porto from the DTI, also in Sultan Kudarat. The police officiers who joined the raid were led by Inspector Antonio Barroquillo of the Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) team of the Tacurong PNP office and SPO4 Miguel Biadoma of the Special Operations Group. Limson said concerned citizens reported the on-going in Tan’s warehouse situated at Purok New Negros in Barangay San Pablo after days of surveillance. “The laborers told us, when we asked them, the bags would be delivered to a buyer in Davao City whom they refused to identify," said Limson. It is sad to know that in spite of the rice in the Philippines is at crisis, there is still businessman who took the opportunity to gain more income. The needs of the poor could not be served either they were deprived of their privileges to avail the lower cost of rice.

The old fashioned cold remedies
Home remedies for colds are safe, gentle and effective. They're great for uncomplicated, run-of-the-mill colds and better yet many of these remedies are available right in your pantry. A cold is a viral illness of the upper respiratory tract. It may lead to sinus infection, bronchitis, or other secondary infections that take hold when viruses lower your immunity. Treating a cold aggressively at the first sign of symptoms can help limit its severity or even stop it in its tracks. We need to reconsider natural alternatives that work as well not only having the habit of believing that fights flu and cold has to come in a pill. Here's the cold remedies that works.
- Breathe Deeply and feel Better. Inhaling steam helps decongest you because it gets mucus moving. Bacteria flourish when mucus gets stuck in your nose, sinuses or chest.
- Drink your Soup. It helps you keep hydrated by replacing fluids lost from a runny nose or from sweating when you have a fever. Steam that rises from a hot bowl of soup helps to clear a stuffy nose and sinuses as do optional hot and spicy ingredients such as cayenne or chili peppers.
- The Water Cold cure. Drink it, steam it, gargle with it and even sit or stand in it. When it comes to colds, you won't find a more time tested versatile remedy than water. Try drinking ten 8oz glasses a day which helps replace the fluids that lost.
- Garlic. Garlic cloves contain hundreds of active ingredients, including sulfur-containing compound such as allicin, that give it its distinct and pungent aroma. Try eating 4 to 8 garlic cloves a day(ugghh!) but if you can't do it, try mixing it with plain yogurt or cottage cheese.
After all, these home made remedies could give you a quick relief and easy on budget. But as the saying goes, Try to consult your doctor if symptoms don't improve after 5 to 7 days.

Planning to have a healthy Lifestyle

Vanessa Hudgens sued for $5 million

Pop Tarts has obtained documents filed on Monday in the Los Angeles Superior Court in which her former producer/manager Johnny Viera says he wants $5 million of her fortune.
Viera claims that he and Hudgens entered a financial agreement back in May 2005 to launch her career and go 50/50 on her earnings. But after the enormous success of “High School Musical,” Viera says she gave him the boot and although they came to a settlement agreement, Ness hasn’t been paying her way.
But according to her Vanessa's father, Greg Hudgens, Viera has a “predatory nature” and the Disney dad has been trying to set up a Web site or phone line to stop more “unsuspecting talent” from falling victim to his ways.
