My daughter Mica loves secret. She likes to whisper in my ears all her secrets so that her Dad can't hear what she's saying. Every time she has a problem in school she will talk to me privately especially when her things in school were misplace or lost or just a comment from her classmates. The first time when she tells me her secret was when her toy car was nowhere to be found inside the classroom. The teacher required them to bring their favorite toy car as a project. We kept our secret for a week from his dad so that Daddy will not scold her and she hopes that toy car will return to her after all the teachers in pre-school were informed of the lost toy. But in her dismay, toy car cannot be found and one day when we got home , I already informed my husband first of the news and alarm him not to get angry with Mica because she was very upset. So when the time Mica told his dad about it, tears were flowing in her eyes and gave her promise to his dad never to bring any thing in school. As a mom, I was happy that my daughter trust me and I go with her secret because it opens up her feelings and disappointments at an early age. I also tried to explain to her the good and the bad side so that later on she will learn it.

MIchael Jackson's 50th birthday has no celeb-packed party
There will be no fireworks or celeb-packed party for Michael Jackson's 50th birthday on Friday. Instead, the star is planning a low-key celebration with his kids. "[I'm] having a wonderful time, just relaxing,"And his agenda was "A little cake with my children and we'll probably watch some cartoons." Plus, the King of Pop assures that he can still perform all his famous dance moves and "more." And despite the controversies of the past years, he's still looking forward to "great things," professionally. "I am writing all the time," he told the morning news show in a phone call from California. "I love composing." But his priorities have changed. "I am also raising my children and enjoying it and teaching them to ride bicycles and how to read," he said. "I love it." The former child star also said his kids are enjoying freedom he never had at their age. "I let them go to the arcade and go to the movies and do things," he added. "I want them to get to do the kind of things I didn't get to do." Spending quality time with children is a magnificient experience. Have a wonderful time with your children and a happy birthday to you.
Life Struggle
Life nowadays seems so hard for us. We were financially down but we tried to look for a solution on how to cope up with our daily expenses plus all the bills to be paid for in a month. Our garden business were not doing good nowadays maybe because of the crisis that arises in our country. Our product was not that important commodity for the moment so we experience slow sales. In spite of all these things that we experience, still we were high in spirit and not losing our hope nor giving it up. We just continue to live in a simple way of life, doing things we used to and most of all clinging and increasing our faith to the Father Almighty. I know He is always there looking at us and knows what is the best for all of us. He will never fail us in times of need. Time will come that we can overcome this problem and the most important thing is that we were in good shape to face all the challenge that may come our way everyday.

Snoring while Sleeping
My husband snores a lot. Sometimes when he hit the bed first, it is the starting point of my agony just listening to the sound of snoring. Sometimes our daughter wakes him up to change his sleeping position so that we can sleep too. But there are times too that we can't endure the noise, we just transfer to another room to have a good night sleep. I do hope my husband snoring will end so we can sleep better.
Snoring, like all other sounds, is caused by vibrations that cause particles in the air to form sound waves. For example, when we speak, our vocal cords vibrate to form our voice. When our stomach growls (borborygmus), our stomach and intestines vibrate as air and food move through them.
While we are asleep, turbulent airflow can cause the tissues of the nose and throat to vibrate and give rise to snoring. Essentially, snoring is a sound resulting from turbulent airflow that causes tissues to vibrate during sleep.
Any person can snore. Studies estimate that 45% of men and 30% of women snore on a regular basis. Frequently, people who do not regularly snore will report snoring after a viral illness, after drinking alcohol, or when taking some medications.
People who snore can have any body type. We frequently think of a large man with a thick neck as a snorer. However, a thin woman with a small neck can snore just as loudly. In general, as people get older and as they gain weight, snoring will worsen.

A spectacular Hanging Monastery in China
It was a spectacular and magnificient wonders of
the world. People who build this Monastery are truly the expert of all the experts compared in the present generation.
Hanging Monastery stands at the foot of Mt. Hengshan, 5 kilometers (3 miles) south of Hunyuan County, and 65 kilometers (40 miles) from downtown Datong City. Since it hangs on the west cliff of Jinxia Gorge more than 50 meters above the ground, it is called Hanging Monastery.Hanging Monastery, built in 491, has survived more than 1400 years. The extant monastery was largely rebuilt and maintained in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) and Qing Dynasty (1644-1911).How could a building like this withstand the winds and storms of so many years? Hanging Monastery is an architectural wonder. A unique mechanical theory was applied to building the framework. Crossbeams were half-inserted into the rock as the foundation, while the rock in back became its support. Seen from below, Hanging Monastery appears to be a tumble-down castle in the air. Inside, Hanging Monastery provides the same scene as other temples. Construction experts from countries including Britain, Germany, and Italy, come to see the monastery. In their words, Hanging Monastery, which mixes mechanics, aesthetics, and Buddhism, is rare. The monastery and everything it symbolizes embodies a great cultural achievement of Chinese people. The second attraction of Hanging Monastery is that it includes Buddhism, Taoism and Confucianism. Inside the monastery, the sculptures of Sakyamuni, Confucius and Laotzu appear together, which is unusual. There are 40 halls and cabinets, which contain about 80 sculptures made of copper, iron, terracotta, and stone. The features are vividly carved. Why build a monastery like this? Location is the first reason; building a monastery on the cliff could shield it from floods. In addition, the mountain peak protects it from rain and snow; and the mountain around it also diminishes damage from long-time sunshine. The second reason is that the builders followed a principle in Taoism: no noises, including those from rooster crowing and dog baying; so from the upper ground, all noises drop away.

MIchelle Obama as the next first lady of the United States
Michelle Obama gave the kind of intimate, emotional endorsement only a wife could give in her headlining speech kicking off the Democratic National Convention on Monday night. She recalled her husband, Barack Obama, as a nervous new dad, before the hype and hoopla of his life on the national stage, and said he has not been changed by politics. "He's the same man who drove me and our new baby daughter home from the hospital 10 years ago this summer," said Michelle, "inching along at a snail's pace, peering anxiously at us in the rearview mirror, feeling the whole weight of her future in his hands ... [He was] determined to give her what he never had, the affirming embrace of a father's love." Her voice caught with emotion and she sniffed several times. At the start of a four-day gathering that will culminate in her husband receiving the Democratic nomination for president, Michelle, 44, remembered the long, hard-fought primary season. "After all that's happened these past 19 months, see, the Barack Obama I know today is the same man I fell in love with 19 years ago." Michelle Obama is an American lawyer and was born and grew up on the South Side of Chicago and graduated from Princeton University and Harvard Law School. Seeing Michelle in the CNN news, I find her strong and full of determination. She was always there to support Mr. Barrack candidacy. Whoever wins, I do hope they will be a good and productive leader in their country. Goodluck!!!
Vin Diesel is now a daddy to a Baby Girl
As an action hero Vin Diesel spends his time chasing bad guys and dodging explosions – but in real life he's just happy changing diapers. Vin Diesel who welcomed his first child, a daughter, in April with girlfriend Paloma Jimenez – says fatherhood has given him a whole new perspective. "Someone once told me that, when you have a child, it opens up parts of your heart that you never knew existed. And it is so true," Diesel said. "It's like you have a child and you think, 'Everything that I've done up until this point is insignificant in comparison to being a father.' It's a beautiful, beautiful thing." And Diesel says he's had plenty of parenting training – both on and off screen. "I had a lot of practice growing up. I was the oldest of the children in my family. I had to do a lot of diaper-changing and lunch-making," he says. "I was taking my little sister to ballet, picking up my brother, sort of being a super-nanny." Diesel then parlayed that experience into 2005's The Pacifier, which had him costarring with tiny tots. "Working with babies on the set for so long, it really started to bring out this desire to have a child," he says. "And it took a couple years after that to find the right person and to hopefully be mature enough to be a great father – which is really all you want to do." Congratulations Vin! Goodluck to your fatherhood.

Caught Re-bagging of NFA Rice in Tacurong City
A joint team from the Tacurong police and representatives of the NFA and Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) raided the Tacurong Agri-World Rice Mill on Wednesday morning and found at least 1,000 sacks of NFA well-milled rice being re-bagged.Tacurong police director Joel Limson, in a interview, said that during the raid, at least 80 of the re-bagged rice were already loaded on a 16-wheeler truck and was about to be delivered to a buyer in Davao City.Limson said 10 workers were at the warehouse when the raiders arrived at around 8:20 a.m. on Wednesday, but rice mill owner Bernardo Tan was not around. The raiding team was led by Tacurong City councilor Excel Pauya and Vicente Gopes, together with an investigator of the NFA in Sultan Kudarat and Carmen Porto from the DTI, also in Sultan Kudarat. The police officiers who joined the raid were led by Inspector Antonio Barroquillo of the Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) team of the Tacurong PNP office and SPO4 Miguel Biadoma of the Special Operations Group. Limson said concerned citizens reported the on-going in Tan’s warehouse situated at Purok New Negros in Barangay San Pablo after days of surveillance. “The laborers told us, when we asked them, the bags would be delivered to a buyer in Davao City whom they refused to identify," said Limson. It is sad to know that in spite of the rice in the Philippines is at crisis, there is still businessman who took the opportunity to gain more income. The needs of the poor could not be served either they were deprived of their privileges to avail the lower cost of rice.

Wedding Bells for Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi
Wedding bells are ringing! Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi have tied the knot. Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi were married in an intimate ceremony at their home in Los Angeles. DeGeneres, 50, and de Rossi, 35, both wore Zac Posen and exchanged rings by Neil Lane during the Saturday ceremony. Their big day also featured arrangements by L.A. florist Mark's Garden. The intimate ceremony was attended by 19 guests, including DeGeneres's mom Betty and de Rossi's mother Margaret Rogers (who flew in from Australia for the occasion), who witnessed the couple exchange handwritten vows. The couple have been dating since December 2004. DeGeneres announced her plans to wed de Rossi during a taping of her talk show in May after California's Supreme Court ruled a previous ban on gay marriage to be unconstitutional. The following month de Rossi showed off a 3-carat diamond ring set on a pink pavé band DeGeneres presented to her for their upcoming nuptials when the pair attended the Daytime Emmy Awards together. "She's taught me lessons about myself, and I feel like I've taught her," the TV host said of de Rossi last year. "We've both changed and grown, and we just feel like, 'Oh, okay, this is completion.'" I do hope their relationship would last long. Ellen was the best host in the show and I really admire her. Congratualtions Ellen!!!

Keisha's desire to play online
My daughter really loves to play online on the net. But the problem is, she can't go near the computer because her dad was busy updating his blogs from time to time. She can't even distract or fool her dad to let him go away in front of the computer. She's dreading to play y8.com or disneygames online but have no chance at all. Instead she will go in front of the television and watched her favorite show but from time to time she keep on checking his dad if it is already finished. Sometimes I let her help me cook our food or just simply beside me and tell some stories about in school or a show on tv. Children nowadays as early as 4 years old is so active and updated in all the gadgets. There are the first one to know how to operate even if they seen it for the first time. Compare to the children before or the adults now, they still observe or read the instructions first before touching anything.

The old fashioned cold remedies
Home remedies for colds are safe, gentle and effective. They're great for uncomplicated, run-of-the-mill colds and better yet many of these remedies are available right in your pantry. A cold is a viral illness of the upper respiratory tract. It may lead to sinus infection, bronchitis, or other secondary infections that take hold when viruses lower your immunity. Treating a cold aggressively at the first sign of symptoms can help limit its severity or even stop it in its tracks. We need to reconsider natural alternatives that work as well not only having the habit of believing that fights flu and cold has to come in a pill. Here's the cold remedies that works.
- Breathe Deeply and feel Better. Inhaling steam helps decongest you because it gets mucus moving. Bacteria flourish when mucus gets stuck in your nose, sinuses or chest.
- Drink your Soup. It helps you keep hydrated by replacing fluids lost from a runny nose or from sweating when you have a fever. Steam that rises from a hot bowl of soup helps to clear a stuffy nose and sinuses as do optional hot and spicy ingredients such as cayenne or chili peppers.
- The Water Cold cure. Drink it, steam it, gargle with it and even sit or stand in it. When it comes to colds, you won't find a more time tested versatile remedy than water. Try drinking ten 8oz glasses a day which helps replace the fluids that lost.
- Garlic. Garlic cloves contain hundreds of active ingredients, including sulfur-containing compound such as allicin, that give it its distinct and pungent aroma. Try eating 4 to 8 garlic cloves a day(ugghh!) but if you can't do it, try mixing it with plain yogurt or cottage cheese.
After all, these home made remedies could give you a quick relief and easy on budget. But as the saying goes, Try to consult your doctor if symptoms don't improve after 5 to 7 days.

David Beckham in Beijing Olympics Finale
David Beckham will star in the Aug. 24 closing ceremony of the Beijing Olympics. "David is going to be in the surprise finale. A source said that they always have a segment to do the handover, to showcase the next city to host the Olympics. When the Games end at Beijing's National Stadium, the distinction of hosting the Summer Olympics transfers to London in 2012 – with the international soccer star there to help mark the transition. "He was very involved in the London bid to get it, and as a Londoner he is incredibly proud that the Olympics will be in London," the source added. "He is passionate about it and looking forward to the games in 2012." But Beckham's already sports-packed schedule won't leave much time for a leisurely stay in China. "If his [calendar] works out, he will be able to go from the L.A. Galaxy game to Beijing," says the source. "It also depends on if he gets picked for the next England game, as he can go on from there." It's been an honor for David to be part in closing Beijing Olympics and bring it to his country to the 2012 Summer Olympics to his homeland.

Planning to have a healthy Lifestyle
My husband and I planned to have a healthy lifestyle by eating healthy foods. All should be taken in moderation from morning to evening. We decided not to eat pork anymore as one of our favorite viand in the house instead taking and eating vegetables, fish and fruits only. And not only that we also cut our consumptions of beverages especially coca colas and switch to juices and mostly purely water. At first, the temptation we can't resist but we always try to remind ourselves and the promises that we made to be thin and healthy . We hit the grocery for our food together and even my daughter reminds us always of that diet plan. But there are times that we crave for the food we love, we only discussed for it and in the end we decided not to bought for it for the reason that we already have a taste of it before. Hopefully, we could keep our promise to eat healthy and enjoy our lives longer together.
