Harvest Time for Mango

Were up early last saturday morning for the whole day work in Mintal for the harvest of 148 mango trees in Mintal. We pack our baon and things needed for the harvesting. Upon reaching the place, the sun was too hot but we started right away picking mangoes and placing it in the big rattan container. To our dismay, mostly half of the fruits were fallen due to the disease that affected the mango. Out of 19,600 mangoes wrapped by paper, we only got 390 kilos but not in good quality. Some were cracked and skin of mangoes was full of black spots. We have fun time selecting the best mango for our supply in our home. At around 5pm we went to Bankerohan Market and bought 4 sacks calcium nitrate and to the Pan de Pugon Bakery. I bought 5 hot yummy pandesal and favorite cheese bread of Mica. Upon reaching home, my plants are dying of thirst! hahaha Imagine for the whole day without water, they are dehydrated and gloomy. I immediately watered them fully so that when morning comes, they are already fresh and ready to feel the heat of the sun. here is the picture of the mango that we harvested from Noel's farm.

This mango taste so sweet when it is color yellow and ripe , but if is still in color green, be ready to taste the crunchiness and the sourness when biting it. Arrgghhh!!! Ready with salt and soy sauce or better yet with the sugar and soy sauce for dipping. hehehe
