This is the finest and effective dramatic actress in Philippine movies. I find her talented and dedicated to her craft as an actress. She was so effective in drama roles portraying as "kontrabida" or the bad side of the character.

Jodi Chrissie Santamaria-Lacson, sometimes credited as Jodi Sta. Maria, Jodie Santamaria or Jodi Santa Maria and was born June 16, 1982. Jodi is a Filipina actress. She is a member of ABS-CBN's circle of homegrown talents named Star Magic. Jodi met her now husband Pampi Lacson while at the set of "Tabing ilog" way back in 2000. Pampi was tagged by a friend in visiting 'Desiree del Valle'. Many doesnt know that it was Jodi who asked to be introduced to Pampi.She took the spotlight when she took on the role of 'George' in the teen cult classic Tabing Ilog way back in 2000. She took on other TV roles as well as doing other movies but was a revelation last year in TV series like "Walang Kapalit" and Komiks Presents: Da Adventures of Pedro Penduko. She had very notable performances as well most recently in the indie movie Nars. She really took centerstage as the very scary (and bitter) wife Ruth in the TV series Susan Roces Cinema Collection presents: Patayin Sa Sindak Si Barbara. She is now hapily married to Panfilo "Pampi" Lacson Jr., who is the son of Philippine politician Panfilo Lacson. Together, they have a son named Thirdy.
