Missing my folks

I have talk to my folks through long distance, asking them of their whereabouts and their condition since they were living alone together in our home at the province. Hearing their voices and stories from days work makes me feel lighter and secured. Their situation of living together without us, they have 3 siblings and I am the youngest, started when we studied at Davao City. At that time, the least we could visit them is for 1 day or spending more time when its school break. Now, that we are having our own family, Opps! not all of us. It's just me and my other sister who is now happily married spend longer time with them during Christmas season. The eldest sister who was still enjoying her single blessedness goes home when she can have her one or two months vacation from abroad. Sometimes, thinking of the situation that my parents have right now was also a learning experience for me. Time will come that Me and Noel can also experience the same way that my parents did. Children leaving their homes looking for their better future. Even though we are apart with each other, the love and care was still there and the most important thing is we communicate almost everyday. And thanks for the technology!.

Daily Calcium is good for the Bones

Meeting your daily calcium requirement needs to be a lifetime commitment. 1,ooo mg of calcium and 400 IU of vitamin daily if you re under 50, and 1,500 mg of calcium and 800 IU of D if you re over 50. How to achieved this? Here's how to get it? Three servings of calcium-rich foods daily provide about 900mg of calcium. Best bets: fat-free or low fat dairy products and calcium fortified orange juice. Combined with the 250mg that you typically get from other foods, you' ll meet the quota. Also, pick a calcium supplement that you like-whether it's chewable, chocolate flavored, or simply a tablet and you'll be more likely to take it regularly. And the best thing is to keep a supply in your purse, car or desk drawer for a convenient lunchtime or suppertime dose. Calcium is best absorbed in doses larger than 500mg taken at least 3 hours apart. Remember, Calcium counts and this is our bones need.

Victim of Diabetes

This morning, after I have washed all our clothes, a customer friend Esther visit our garden. She was with his husband planning to buy some cenisio plants. But before we can go concentrate to our business proper, she tells me a story about the condition of his husband. His name is Bebot. Nong Bebot as I call him, showed to me his small toe at the right leg that was wrap by a bandage. It was getting black and pus was drifting the other day as Esther relates in her story. He takes Amoxiclav tablet prescribed by his doctor but the condition and the effect was still the same. He feels numb and as I noticed, the color of his skin was yellowish. I pity him of his condition because they are good people and down to earth. They send their children in the best school, acquired some properties, living in a comfortable life through their business which is plants. They are also a good friend of the family. My husband Noel also helps him understand the proper care on how to take care of a diabetic person. Esther too was eager to bring his husband to a diabetologist for proper medication and to avoid amputate his right leg. Nong Bebot to finds consolation and advice from my father-in-law who was now in wheel chair because of he has no right leg right now. He is also a diabetic person for 4 years now. In the end, after the long story, business was resume.Business is business.hehehe So to my dear readers, take care of your health, eat healthy foods and do some exercise. Live life to the fullest and enjoy it.

New Way to treat Corns

My husband Noel suffer painful area especially in his toe of dead, thickened skin for a long time. We went to the dermatologist twice for the treatment and bought an expensive cream that was prescribed by a doctor. He used it for months but still the corn is kept on coming back. He still complains everyday because he can still feel the tingling feeling that it gives. I read several books, and apply the helpful tips that I have learned. Corn are your skin's way of protecting itself against repeated rubbing or pressure from tight shoes. To help minimize the discomfort corns cause, try covering them with some soft padding (we bought one in mall, and it helps). And also find a new pair of comfortable shoes, one that allows your toes to wiggle. And to soften and remove corns, try this helpful tips, First, Soak your feet in warm water for 20 minutes. Second, Cut a square from the peel of a fresh pineapple and gently rest the inside directly on the corn. Using first aid tape, attach the peel to the corn overnight and cover it with a sock.Third, remove carefully the peel the following morning and soak your foot again. It may take as many as four consecutive nights of applying the pineapple peel until the corn falls off or comes off easily by rubbing it gently with a pumice stone. Why pineapple? It says that the secret is bromelain, an enzyme found in pineapple plants and fruits that softens and breaks down the dead skin. Although there's been no research that pineapple peel can remove corns, some people have reported success with this remedy and it is safe and natural alternative to over the counter medicine. So, if you got corns, try this helpful tips, I'm sure the discomfort will be gone and you can move freely.

As he gets older, the High School Musical 3 star finds himself graduating from a "jeans and sandals" wardrobe to a more sophisticated look. Home Alone

Our home was empty!I could barely hear the sound of the lizard crawling in one place to another and the ticking of the clock near the front door. Noel went to Cebu and Keisha stays in her grandma's house for awhile. As we were watching shows on tv, Keisha and I were sooo quiet and don't talk too much because we were seriously watching the opera soap and spongebob.hehehe It is not good living alone and spending the rest of life without someone to turn to. So for someone out there who live alone, Go and try to find a companion to make your life meaningful and happy . It may ease your boredom and loosen your insanity in life.
