Adolescent Child

I have read some books that an adolescent child especially in boys puberty begins between the age of 9 and 16. They have a natural urge to experiment and be independent. Competition and strict rules are very important. They enjoy activities such as sports, videos, movies, reading, computer games and music. This is how an adolescent child grows. As for experience, I have known a child that at age 9 never grows and act at his age. He never learns to be responsible in all things- be material or emotional that was given to him for free . But to my dismay, things were not properly taken care of, material things were destroyed due to his carelessness and never keep it after playing. When his parents reminded him about his school works, he just absently nodded and say yes to it and then doing nothing. His favorite past time, not past time I guess, all the time, was to play Internet games all day and his play station portable. Even if he can't eat nor take a bath as long as he is enjoying the moment playing with his gadget. Watching television too was one of his favorites. He also learns to say lies and make stories out of the original story. Everyday, he was reminded 24/7 of all his responsibilities, the things to be done at home, school works and even at his own personal being but still he never comply and tried to do it right. I guess this child grows with abundant love from his parents and loved ones but lack of guidance and discipline. He must really be guided and implement strict rules for him to be able to learn and adapt good attitude towards others. And when he will become an adult he can easily handle difficulties in his personality while growing up.
