Having a Pocket Garden

Living in an urban life has a limited space for everything. Having a busy schedules everyday be it in work, family and friends, everyone has to find a place to relax and be at home with her own self. Creating a little hobby right in your own home is helpful. It can cost you less and can be manage properly. It can gives you satisfaction and happiness in what your doing. If you love plants why create a pocket garden in your area. Pocket Garden is an indoor or outdoor garden that fits into a small space or area. It is best and perfect for condo or apartment dwellers who don't have enough space or time for proper garden. It adds a little bit of greenery to liven up in your own home. Putting up a pocket garden do not require or need to be a professional one. But there are things to be considered in having one. First the location. Sunlight is important in the life of a plants. Some plants like herbs and flowering needs full sunlight but other plants like fern and agloenema can live in shady areas. The good news is, not all plants needs to be planted in soil. Pocket garden can be loosely defined as potted plants artistically arranged in a small space-you can create indoors. Second, Theme. Design and decide which plants you want in your garden. It may be helpful to research and look in the magazines which one is the best. You may also ask some of the gardeners for the tips in taking care of your plants.Third, Focal Point. It may be a pocket garden, but it need not feel small. Provide some accents or drama like putting a big jar, or a big shallow container to hold water in one magnificent plant. Group similar plants together having the taller plants in the background and the shorter ones in the foreground. Fourth, Nourishment.Morning is the best time to water plants. Hydrate them well enough so that they stay moist for a couple of days. And lastly, Fertilize. Compost is best for plants. Slow release fertilizer is best because it dispense over a period of three months. This keeps you from over fertilizing. Having this simple tips, everyone could enjoy gardening right in their own home in their small area. It gives you a feeling of relaxation and loosen stress in your everyday work.
